Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America, is an actress and singer. The actress was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. She is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier and Tom Bell. The mother of Kristen is Polish as is her father, who is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen discovered her talents in the world of entertainment at a young age. When she was in 1992, she attended her first audition. She got an appearance on Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell was accepted by her mother to become an agent when she was only thirteen years old. She was then chosen for the newspaper advertisements and commercials for TV. Also, she began private acting classes at this time. Bell had a small uncredited part in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School, which was where she participated in both the music and drama club. The Wizard of Oz production in her high school earned Bell the leading Dorothy character. Bell studied music theatre in the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. Bell quit college in 2001 when she took the role of Becky for Tom Sawyer. In 2001, she made her debut on the credit screen as Becky in Pootie Tang. But the film cut her character from the film and she only appears on the screen credits. Bell was in Broadway in The Crucible, a revival with Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
