Jill Hennessy

The resident of Edmonton, Alberta has a mixed ancestry of Irish, Italian, Swedish, French and Ukranian. Jacqueline is her twin sister. She is also an actor. Jill learned to speak several languages, such as Italian, French, Spanish when she was growing to. She began her journey into acting around the age of twelve. Her career as an actor began in Toronto when she played an escort for David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers, along with her younger sister. She then studied improv-comedy at Second City with Deb Kimmet. Two years later, she made the move to New York and signed a deal to play the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the long playing hit TV series Law & Order. She also worked in films like RoboCop 3 (1998), Ron Howard's The Paper (2000) and I Shot Andy Warhol 1996) throughout her three-year period. Following that she landed roles on some forgettable movies. In 1999, she was cast as a lead in the mini-series uremberg together with Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York, Exit Wounds and other major productions were to follow. In 2001, she got the role of the main character in the NBC-TV crime series Crossing Jordan and in 2007 she took home a Gracie Allen award as "Outstanding Female Leading in an Drama Series" due to her role in the series. She got married in 2000 to her co-star Paolo Mastropietro. They have two kids. In 2007 the couple was recognized as a member of Canada's Walk of Fame. Jill Jill Jill Jill Jill
